Service Overview
Home Care Professionals Available Through Our Registry
Reflections Home Care Registry connects families with qualified independent caregivers who provide medical and non-medical home care services. Our registry model allows families to directly employ experienced caregivers based on their loved one’s individual needs.
Understanding the difference between private duty caregiving and private duty nursing is essential when arranging care at home.
Private Duty Caregiving (Non-Medical Home Care)
Families may employ the following types of caregivers through our registry:
Companion Caregivers
Provide social engagement, supervision, emotional support, and assistance with daily routines to reduce isolation and promote well-being.
Home Health Aides (HHA)
Provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and daily routines.
Personal Care Aides (PCA)
Support activities of daily living, supervision, and safety monitoring.
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
Offer hands-on support with personal care and mobility assistance.
Non-medical caregiving services may include:
- Assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Mobility and transfer support
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders (not administration)
- Companionship and cognitive engagement
- Transportation to appointments or community activities
- Safety supervision
These services focus on maintaining independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life at home.
Skilled Nursing Services (Medical Care)
Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) provide skilled medical care, including:
- Medication administration
- Wound care
- Clinical assessments
- Skilled monitoring of medical conditions
Skilled nursing services are medical in nature and typically require coordination through a licensed home care agency or medical provider. Reflections Home Care Registry does not directly provide skilled nursing services.
Our Role as a Home Care Registry
Reflections Home Care Registry facilitates connections between families and independent caregivers. Families directly employ the caregiver they select. We assist with screening, background verification, and matching to support informed hiring decisions.
