Our Story
Founded from two decades of experience to create a better model for home care.
Why Reflections Home Care Registry Was Created
Reflections Home Care Registry was founded by Lindsay Kratzer after more than 20 years working in the aging and home care field. Throughout her career, Lindsay witnessed firsthand the challenges families face when trying to secure consistent, quality care at home. She also saw the toll that high turnover, burnout, and limited compensation take on caregivers — often resulting in disrupted care and strained relationships.
After years of navigating traditional home care models, it became clear that something more sustainable and meaningful was needed. Lindsay created Reflections Home Care Registry to offer an alternative — one that prioritizes continuity, respects caregivers as professionals, and allows care relationships to thrive.
Experience That Shapes the Model
With over two decades of experience, Lindsay understands that constant caregiver turnover is one of the most frustrating and harmful realities in home care. Families are left adjusting to new faces, while caregivers struggle to find stability and recognition for deeply meaningful work.
Reflections Home Care Registry was designed to address this challenge by fostering longer-term, more intentional care relationships. By allowing caregivers to earn higher wages for their work and engage directly with clients, the registry model supports greater satisfaction, accountability, and commitment.
When caregivers are valued and fairly compensated, the care they bring into the home is more consistent, compassionate, and impactful.
