Our Five-Step Process
We’ve designed our matching process to be thorough without being complicated. Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Initial Consultation & Needs Assessment
We start by listening. What kind of support does your loved one need? What does a typical day look like? What matters most to your family? What personality traits work best with your household?
We also explain what to expect from home care, what to look for in a caregiver, and help you think through logistics like scheduling, location, and specific skill requirements.
Our Role: Understanding your complete picture to make an excellent match.
Step 2: Comprehensive Screening & Vetting
Every caregiver in our registry has been screened, including background checks, reference verification, and interviews. We evaluate skills, reliability, experience, and personality fit.
We’re selective because your family’s trust matters. This isn’t a numbers game. We’re looking for people who take their work seriously and genuinely want to provide good care.
Our Role: Maintaining a vetted pool of qualified, dependable caregivers.
Step 3: Candidate Matching & Profiles
Based on your needs and preferences, we identify 2-3 caregivers who could be a strong fit. You receive detailed profiles including experience, skills, certifications, availability, and brief personal information that helps you understand who they are beyond a resume.
Our Role: Using our knowledge of both families and caregivers to suggest matches that make sense.
Step 4: Interviews & Getting to Know Them
You conduct interviews with the candidates. This is where chemistry matters. Talk to them about their experience, how they approach care, what they enjoy about this work, and whether their style feels right for your family.
We encourage you to ask questions, check references directly, and trust your instincts. You know your family best.
Our Role: Supporting you through the interview process and answering questions about candidates.
Step 5: Hiring Support & Onboarding
Once you’ve selected your caregiver, we handle the paperwork, employment setup, and compliance. We ensure everything is legal, documented, and protected for both you and your caregiver.
We also provide resources for your first days together, including things to discuss, expectations to clarify, and how to start the relationship off right.
Our Role: Making hiring simple so you can focus on building the working relationship.
Throughout: Our Ongoing Support
After hiring, we remain available. Questions come up. Adjustments are needed. Schedule changes happen. We’re here to help troubleshoot, provide guidance, and ensure the arrangement continues to work for everyone.
